-
- Sounds just like my setup, I can't recall if I upgraded to 3.1 and then
- added the GVP Turbo or the other way around. In any case I had/have no
- problems with this whatsoever. In the meantime I replaced a 1MB SIMM with
- a 4MB SIMM jumping from 5M to 8M fast and still have no problems.
-
- By the way, I do NOT use the GVP utility to map ROM to FastMem, and
- haven't even tried it. (I find fast mem is too precious and I've
- always been sceptical of the alleged speedup claims). Try disableing it.
-
- Lastly try booting with the supplied WB3.1 disk.
-
- I did have a problem with Chip order and pin alignement initially when I
- upgraded to 3.1, and possibly I had a similiar problem. After putting
- that to rights things went OK.
